The deadly Blue Ringed Octopus- This picture was taken by my mate Karen(oh no Ozzie Lingo appearing) who was also in Coral Bay.
The blue-ringed octopus is one of the most toxic known sea creatures, next to the box jellyfish. It carries enough poison to kill 26 adult humans within minutes. There is no antidote. Shall we try not to step on him then? PS if its showing its blue rings, I think it means it isn't very happy, or 'clear off, I'm the dangerous blue ringed octopus'.
